I make functional pottery in my garage studio. On the weekend, mostly. Hence the name of this blog.
During the week, I’m a librarian.

I’m the only child of an only child.
I was born in Iowa.

Despite holding two art degrees, I suffer from fear of drawing.
I’m addicted to Diet Coke.
I never inhaled. Really.
I don’t color my hair.
I can’t see very well anymore without my glasses, and this annoys me greatly.
I think it would be fun to go to cooking school, but not fun to have a job cooking.
I love to bake.
I make a mean omelet.
I like red wine, but it doesn’t like me (except for Chianti, for some reason.)
I’m a fledgling, but enthusiastic gardener.
Have passport, will travel.
I have my secrets.
